ISO 45001:2018 External Audit Stage 1: Reviews OHS Documents and Implementation

PT Vortex Conveyor International conducted a Stage 1 External Audit for ISO 45001:2018 over two days, from September 17 to 18, 2026. The audit was part of the evaluation process for the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Management System implemented across the company’s working environment. The audit was conducted at two of the company’s main facilities, the Transom & Pulley Factory and the Roller Factory.

The first day of the audit, including the opening session, took place at the Transom & Pulley Factory. During this stage, the auditor conducted an initial review of the management system’s readiness, particularly the documents and information related to occupational health and safety. This review was an important part of assessing the conformity of the established system with the requirements of ISO 45001:2018.

The Stage 1 audit primarily focused on reviewing the company’s OHS documentation. In addition to examining the documented system, the auditor also conducted several visits to the work areas to validate the implementation of OHS practices for employees. These activities provided an overview of the relationship between the documented system and its implementation within the company’s operational environment.

On the second day, the audit continued and concluded at the Roller Factory. The field assessment complemented the document review by examining actual conditions within the work areas. This approach was carried out to provide a more comprehensive view of how the OHS management system is implemented across PT Vortex Conveyor International’s facilities.

Through the Stage 1 External Audit, PT Vortex Conveyor International received an independent evaluation to assess whether its Occupational Health and Safety Management System has fully conformed to and met the requirements of ISO 45001:2018. The findings from this process can support the company’s evaluation in identifying aspects that need to be maintained as well as areas that may require further development within its OHS system.

The audit is part of PT Vortex Conveyor International’s ongoing efforts to strengthen occupational health and safety practices throughout the company. By combining document management with on-site validation, the company aims to ensure that OHS is not only managed administratively but also implemented effectively in the workplace to support the safety and well-being of all employees.

PT Vortex Conveyor International Melaksanakan Audit Eksternal Stage 1 ISO 45001:2018

PT Vortex Conveyor International melaksanakan Audit Eksternal Stage 1 ISO 45001:2018 selama dua hari pada 17 hingga 18 September 2026. Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari proses evaluasi terhadap Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (SMK3) yang diterapkan di lingkungan perusahaan. Audit dilaksanakan di dua fasilitas utama, yaitu Transom & Pulley Factory dan Roller Factory.

Pelaksanaan audit pada hari pertama sekaligus pembukaan kegiatan berlangsung di Transom & Pulley Factory. Pada tahap ini, auditor melakukan peninjauan awal terhadap kesiapan sistem manajemen, khususnya dokumen dan informasi yang berkaitan dengan aspek keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja. Pemeriksaan tersebut menjadi bagian penting untuk melihat kesesuaian sistem yang telah dibangun dengan persyaratan ISO 45001:2018.

Audit Stage 1 kali ini lebih berfokus pada pemeriksaan dokumentasi K3 yang diterapkan oleh perusahaan. Selain melakukan peninjauan terhadap dokumen, auditor juga beberapa kali melakukan pengecekan langsung ke area kerja untuk memvalidasi penerapan aspek K3 bagi karyawan. Kegiatan tersebut memberikan gambaran mengenai keterkaitan antara sistem yang terdokumentasi dengan kondisi dan penerapannya di lingkungan operasional perusahaan.

Pada hari kedua, proses audit dilanjutkan sekaligus ditutup di Roller Factory. Pemeriksaan lapangan menjadi salah satu bagian yang melengkapi evaluasi dokumentasi dengan melihat kondisi aktual di area kerja. Pendekatan tersebut dilakukan untuk memperoleh gambaran yang lebih menyeluruh mengenai penerapan sistem keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja di fasilitas PT Vortex Conveyor International.

Melalui Audit Eksternal Stage 1 ini, PT Vortex Conveyor International memperoleh evaluasi secara independen untuk menilai apakah Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja di lingkungan perusahaan telah sepenuhnya sesuai dan memenuhi persyaratan standar ISO 45001:2018. Hasil dari proses tersebut dapat menjadi bagian dari evaluasi perusahaan dalam mengidentifikasi aspek yang perlu dipertahankan maupun dikembangkan dalam sistem K3.

Pelaksanaan audit ini menjadi bagian dari upaya PT Vortex Conveyor International untuk terus memperkuat penerapan sistem keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja di lingkungan perusahaan. Dengan menggabungkan pengelolaan dokumentasi dan validasi penerapan di lapangan, perusahaan berupaya memastikan bahwa aspek K3 tidak hanya berjalan secara administratif, tetapi juga diterapkan secara nyata untuk mendukung keselamatan dan kesehatan seluruh karyawan.
