Internal Audit Training Supports ISO 45001:2018 Implementation

PT Vortex Conveyor International held an Internal Audit Training for ISO 45001 on Tuesday and Wednesday, 7 to 8 July 2026, at the Meeting Room and Pulley Factory. The session brought together all Department Heads along with representatives from every division across the Transom & Pulley Factory and the Roller Factory, as part of the company's ongoing preparation to implement an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SMK3) in line with the ISO 45001:2018 standard.

The training was designed to equip participants with the competencies needed to carry out internal audits effectively. Topics covered included the core requirements of ISO 45001:2018, the application of Risk Based Thinking, Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA), and audit practices based on the ISO 19011:2018 guideline. Participants also learned how to gather objective evidence, draft Nonconformity Reports (NCR) and Opportunities for Improvement (OFI), and were prepared to take on roles as internal auditors within PT Vortex Conveyor International.

The first day opened with an introduction session followed by material on the principles and stages of internal auditing under ISO 45001. On the second day, participants took part in a simulated internal audit process, practiced compiling audit reports, presented the results of their group discussions, and completed a post-test to assess their understanding of the material covered throughout the training.

Through this training, PT Vortex Conveyor International continues to strengthen its workforce competency in support of ISO 45001:2018 implementation. With a growing pool of qualified internal auditors, the company aims to ensure that its SMK3 implementation remains consistent, objective, and sustainable, helping foster a work environment that is safe, healthy, and aligned with international standards.

Meningkatkan Kompetensi SMK3 melalui Pelatihan Internal Audit ISO 45001

PT Vortex Conveyor International menyelenggarakan Pelatihan Internal Audit ISO 45001 pada Selasa hingga Rabu, 7–8 Juli 2026, bertempat di Ruang Meeting Transom Lantai 2. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh seluruh Department Head serta perwakilan dari setiap divisi di Transom & Pulley Factory maupun Roller Factory sebagai bagian dari persiapan perusahaan dalam menerapkan Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (SMK3) sesuai standar ISO 45001:2018.

Pelatihan bertujuan membekali peserta dengan kompetensi yang dibutuhkan untuk menjalankan audit internal secara efektif. Materi yang disampaikan mencakup pemahaman persyaratan ISO 45001:2018, penerapan pendekatan Risk Based Thinking, Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA), hingga pelaksanaan audit berdasarkan pedoman ISO 19011:2018. Selain itu, peserta juga mempelajari teknik mengumpulkan objective evidence, menyusun Nonconformity Report (NCR) dan Opportunity for Improvement (OFI), serta dipersiapkan untuk menjadi auditor internal di lingkungan PT Vortex Conveyor International.

Pada hari pertama, kegiatan diawali dengan pembukaan dan penyampaian materi mengenai prinsip serta tahapan audit internal ISO 45001. Memasuki hari kedua, peserta mengikuti simulasi proses audit internal, penyusunan laporan audit, presentasi hasil diskusi kelompok, serta post test untuk mengevaluasi pemahaman terhadap materi yang telah diberikan selama pelatihan.

Melalui pelatihan ini, PT Vortex Conveyor International terus memperkuat kompetensi sumber daya manusia dalam mendukung implementasi ISO 45001:2018. Dengan tersedianya auditor internal yang kompeten, perusahaan berharap proses penerapan SMK3 dapat berjalan secara konsisten, objektif, dan berkelanjutan sehingga mampu mendukung terciptanya lingkungan kerja yang aman, sehat, serta memenuhi standar internasional.
